We've been exploring South Africa together in September 2010 and we've met many people who make the most beautiful products. These people are living in several townships and they are using their talents to improve their quality of life. They are true artists who do not have the opportunities that we have in the Netherlands. It often takes hours of traveling to reach the spot where they can work their passion. They put their heart and soul into the artwork and it shows! We developed our logo to point out that specialplace where the artist lives and creates his work. The place where he chooses to have a future. You can see it grows into a flower when we come together.

All products of Township Art are made with passion and care and each product serves several purposes. You're not only buying a product but also a piece of history and you can read the story behind the product. Because behind every product is a personal story that we want to share with the new owner. A story that brings connection, perhaps even a motivation for the buyer to visit Africa.
